Exeter Friendly site goes live
Twofour has designed a brand new website for the long established private medical insurance firm, Exeter Friendly – www.exeterfamily.co.uk - to bring it right up to date and to increase its appeal to a younger generation. The brief was to create a family friendly website offering accessible, practical and helpful information as well as a flexible resource to manage all its members’ household affairs.
Unlike any other insurance website, the products and services are presented within the creative context of a family kitchen to reinforce their accessibility and the role they can play in minimising the cost and impact of ill health on the family. It uses intuitive graphical interfaces to increase the level of consumer involvement and all policy documentation and correspondence between the customer and Exeter Family is also stored electronically in an online safe which is accessed from within the kitchen.
Before commissioning the new site Exeter Friendly carried out research which identified that the main reason for low levels of interest from the younger generation for insurance products that could protect their families from the financial impact of accident or ill health was that insurance companies failed to use a simple and engaging communication style.
